I’m convinced everyone is just going along with it because electric cars are what’s hot at the moment because the actual racing is truly terrible garbage. The cars are shit. The tracks are shit. The drivers are shit. I’ll say it since no one is seemingly willing to. Formula E is shit.

I really can’t argue with anything that you’re saying, except the fad part. I feel like this fad’s gonna last.
But aside from everything you listed, something else feels very very off about the whole thing.
I just saw today’s race, and I still don’t really know how to react to it. And I’ve seen quite a few of these races already.

Are they making actual developments though? I watch the races, but I don’t really follow it behind the scenes. Since it’s under the FIA banner, I’m kind of skeptical..

Dunno. The teams are at least building rather innovative cars to get into the series. But I don't know if there are in season developments going on.
